On this page are included the forms The Gaffney Ledger requires to be completed if you would like to place the following types of announcements in the newspaper:
The forms should be completed as thoroughly as possible and MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE APPROPRIATE SIGNATURES. Any form submitted without the requested signatures will be discarded. Any photos must be accompanied with a self-addressed stamped envelope if you wish to have the photo(s) returned. The Gaffney Ledger does not archive photos other than in electronic form once they have been published. Photos may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Since these forms require signatures, they are not available to be filled out electronically. They may be downloaded, printed out, completed and submitted in person, by email to email@example.com, or via postal mail. Please be sure to include your complete mailing address and an active telephone number.
Engagement: There is a $10 charge to publish engagement announcements (photo included).
Wedding: There is a $25 charge to publish wedding announcements (photo included).
Anniversaries: 25 and 50-year anniversary announcements are published free, all others are a $10 charge. Anniversary announcements for 25 years and up can include two photos - one from when the couple was married and a current photo.
Birth: Birth announcements are published free.
Birthday: There is a $5 charge for birthday announcements for children ages 12 and under. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org more information on birthday announcements.
